Han mente at han hadde en oppfinnelse som ville gi alle i verden gratis og trådløs elektrisitet.
Han var også jomfru hele livet, spiste bare kokt mat, vasket hendene 20 ganger om dagen og hadde et kjærlighetsforhold til en due.
